Ok you guys seem more laid back then the guys over at avsforum as they all like the uber expensive builds and not the simple diyer whos doin it on a dime!

if i put this in the wrong section oops but please move if i did anyways the couch is gonna get replaced by a sectional here soon

i dont like ht seats

I think thats pretty sweet actually. I don't know I just like that appeal there. I can't say i'd give it a 10/10 but it's nice. a bit more of work and bingo you got a bangin setup there. Nice work.

That very nive set up on a budget! it more of a chill place to hang out enjoy video game and movies and beer! Awesome work man!

Looking good. Yeah, AVS has a lot of great guys, but some of those theaters are worth more than some 3rd world countries.

I'm actually considering going all black in my theater also. Did you go with flat, or with a satin?

Did you do all the work by yourself or did you have help? How long did it take you? Anyways, it looks very nice!

wow i leave for 6 hrs and look at all the replys! lol awesome! yes i did do most the work myself had some help for my ceiling and some other modfications my total budget was about 3,000 a chunk of that went to pay for some of my help i had. and yea im no where near done with it, gotta paint some more took me about 4 months kinda moved at a snails pace but oh well get what you pay for. and yes the walls are satin along with the ceiling right now im just focused on getting the seating done... then ill move onto giving it the finishing touches

Looks good but i would have taken a bit more time doing the mud work on the drywall, black shows every imperfection.

yeah wasnt really interested in the ceiling, had zero patience on it and besides youre not looking at the ceiling when ur watchin a movie are ya? lol

How big is that screen?

well the wall itself is 16 feet wide so i wanna say bout oh 12 1/2 feet wide by like 6'7" tall? im at work now otherwise id mesure lol but ill mesure tonight and let you know a definate
