This movie is one of the best norwegien movies of all time, I love this movie.

But how can the germans give out a Steelbook about Max Manus who hatet the germans?

Come on, (fortunately) we're not living in 1940 anymore

I thing capelight, the studio releasing the movie, has quiet a good sense for independent films and how to make them interesting for collectors and films fans. They release for example The Fall or Fire&Ice in very nice Collectors Books with Booklet or City of Ember in an embossed slipcase. So without that I had probably haven't seen these great movies.

True, true. I am happy that this movie is getting a steelbook release. It is a GREAT movie. Cant waite to see the art work on it.

Wow! Movie looks really interesting... I'm always glad when titles that deserve the attention get released in Steelbook format - not the crappy action flicks or B-movies. Far Cry anyone?

yap...that's pretty hard for me,if doesn't have english subs...feel like a stupid man if watch the foreign movie without subs...I suggest buy the UK amaray for watching..

That's a nice lookin steele

. Will have to buy the Swedish release from Nordisk Film when it hits a low price and swap the discs!! Gotta have subs even though its from norway.

I assume you've never been to Germany. The present day Germans hate the Nazis.

The UK amaray does not work on my Region B blu-ray player, as it is a 1080i/50 transfer. Guess, I am going to buy the Canadian release from Sony

If you have Oppo BDP-83 (w/ multi-region mod), it should do the conversion to 1080p.
