My son and I Really enjoyed this movie and it looks like it will get some kind of 3D treatment soon. I was in Best Buy watching the Panasonic 3D demo tonight and Astro Boy starts to play. It looked great... So I came home and googled and found this: http://3dvision-blog.com/stereo-3d-t...-for-download/

I don't know why they would even bother with this title, it made about 2/3rds of it's budget back, 40 Million WW Box Office/$65 Million Budget, not including the marketing. - It just dumping money down a rat hole at this point.
How many 3D disc would you sell? 1,000? fitprod |

It didn't even do well in Japan because it was too much of a departure from the real Atom. IMAGI, the company that made it is in serious financial trouble and has a well underway Gatchaman movie just sitting around unfinished.
The disc might still happen, but it would probably show up as some kind of packin |

Yes, and there were ads 5 years ago for Lawrence of Arabia, Team America and many others
![]() I know that it's been talked about, but it's not even on a schedule yet. If it does come up it'll be because there were good 3D sales at Christmas and they hope to cash in on the low amounts of 3D content |

Was it in 3-D? This was way back at the beginning, and our theater only had one 3D screen at the time, so only caught the 2D release, and came out thinking, "Why wasn't this in 3-D"?

Summit studios was releasing this one on their own, so darn, if it was a major studio like Universal or Sony, they'd be double-, triple- and quadruple-dipping this one for their Family catalog demographic, including the B3D. As it is, all we've got is one YouTube clip. ![]() |

(Is D-Box still around? I know this was a couple years ago, but seemed like it did the fastest disappearing act since Showscan, unless something like Immortals is now playing it...)
