Default Looking for a decent BluRay Player for Laptop

Hi, Not sure which is the correct part of the Forum to post this in, if this is the wrong one, please delete it.

Hi, I am looking to get a BluRay Player (first one ever, Kinetic = Late adopter) for my LapTop. What is a good, decently priced one to get.
LapTop Specs:
Windows 7 x64
Intel I-7 Processor Q720 1.60Ghz x8
4Gb DDR3 Ram
nVidia GeForce 310M with and extra 512Ram

Well it looks like no one is answering you, and I think it's because most people don't swap out Hardware on Laptops. Now were thinking on getting an External Blu-ray Player or an Internal? We need more information on your Laptop, Make and Model, if you were thinking an Internal Slimline.

WOW, thanks for the reply!

No, i'm not swapping anything.

In my post it says external.

I have a Toshiba Satellite Laptop.
16 inch Display @60Mghz (unfortunately)
Windows 7 x64 Operating System
Intel I-7 Processor Q720 1.60Ghz (8 Cores - Hyperthreaded)
4Gb DDR3 Ram
nVidia GeForce 310M with and extra 512Ram.

Not really sure what other specs are needed...
Ask and i will tell though...

They do have USB Blu-ray Players for Laptops, but most feel why play Blu-rays on Laptops. DVD quality would be plenty for a Laptop. The other thing is your Processor speed and Memory might not work efficient enough for Blu-ray. There is also software to play Blu-ray, most Players don't include this, and some is expensive.

I've been looking as well for a blu-ray drive to have the option to play blu-ray's through my PC. I've been waiting for them to drop even more.

Cheapest I've found so far is $50

this is all well and good until you have replaced your dvds with blu-rays...i have heard about the software prob, but i got a bluray player put directly into my HP laptop when i had it built by HP and it worked out of the box...with blu-ray computer players it would be good to check up on this, i have heard the software could cost a good bit to get it to work...his processor is plenty fast to watch a blu-ray like someone else said i7 is about as good as you can get right now...
