Blu-rays with both DTS-MA & TrueHD - Blu-ray Forum

How many blu-rays contain both TrueHD and DTS-MA? I couldn't find a previous thread about this or a list. I only know of one, Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind and while I can't imagine the list is extensive, I'd be interested in knowing this or at least how to find out.

I think Top Gun may be one like that.
for some reason that one sticks out in my mind.
not positive until I go look though.
there are not many that is for sure.

Very interesting question. I know the so-called EXPERTS say there is no difference in sound quality between the two audio cotex, but I personally like DTS-HD Master Audio over TrueHD. To me DTS sounds better and it is my preferred cotex.

A lot of the Hong Kong BDs contain a LPCM, DTS-HD MA, and a Dolby TrueHD track as well.

The Japanese BDs for Evangelion 1.11 and 2.22 have both DTS-HD MA and Dolby TrueHD tracks.

Just plain stupid to include lossless tracks in both DTS and Dolby. Also don't like the PCM tracks that might steal the bandwidth for picture quality, but I understood in the early BD days they were better to serve PCM because the first BD players didn't have any inbuilt decoders.

Hong Kong Blu-rays love putting multiple lossless tracks on the same disc.
