Bang, you're dead.
![]() Here it is, the official guide to your Bronson Blu-ray needs. Feel free to discuss and compare the current releases of his movies. Also let us know if you find out there's a new movie being released in the near future, to help keep the list below up to date - or Bronson will get you. If there's no flag next to the title of the movie, it means it has been released in America and possibly other countries as well around the world. If there is a flag next to it, it has been released in that country and perhaps a few other ones, but not in America. At the moment, the following Charles Bronson movies (that I am aware of) has been released in and/or outside of North America on Blu-ray: House of Wax (1953) ![]() Review Vera Cruz (1954) ![]() Review Jubal (1956) ![]() Review Showdown at Boot Hill (1958) ![]() Review The Magnificent Seven (1960) ![]() Review The Great Escape (1963) ![]() Review Battle of the Bulge (1965) ![]() Review The Dirty Dozen (1967) ![]() Review Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) ![]() Review ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The Mechanic (1972) ![]() Review Mr. Majestyk (1974) ![]() Review Death Wish (1974) ![]() Review Hard Times (1975) ![]() Review Breakheart Pass (1975) ![]() Review ![]() ![]() The White Buffalo (1977) - Coming in April by Kino Lorber ![]() ![]() Death Hunt (1981) ![]() Review Death Wish II (1982) ![]() Review Death Wish III (1985) ![]() Review ![]() ![]() Death Wish IV (1987) ![]() Review ![]() ![]() ![]() List last updated on December 21st, 2014 Last edited by Scottie; 03-08-2017 at 01:09 PM. |

Or you could, you know, just do this:
https://www.blu-ray.com/Charles-Bron...1/?show=bluray Amazed at how many people are unaware of the cast/crew search capabilities here. Just update your site settings to 'global' and you'll always have an up-to-date list of releases with him in it, sorted by title and by country. Last edited by benricci; 11-07-2013 at 09:43 PM. |

Bronson gets roasted a lot from critics and reviewers for a lot of his later films, especially some of the Cannon Films catalog.....but unlike Segal and Van Damme, who kind of followed his path by putting out lower budget action films after their heyday....Bronson's films kick butt, even the "bad" ones. A big factor being that he really was the ultimate "everyman" toughguy.
I'll see Charlie in anything ![]() |

Currently there are 8 pages of various Bronson releases on the link you provided that you have to wade through with the same movie popping up for every country in several instances. This thread gives you a quick look at the current Bronson movies available on Blu-ray in chronological order with a review (when possible) just being one click away on the same page. Without leaving the thread you can type in one of the titles you see here with the search function at the top of the page to see if it is available in your country. If you have a question about a release you can also ask other fans here who may own it, there's not a dedicated thread on this forum for each movie. Heck, someone may even discover Bronson with the help of the list and recommendations made in this thread, I know I've done a good deed if that ever happens. What's the harm in that? Some people who just hasn't thought about checking up on Charles Bronson Blu-rays may find this topic by chance and find it helpful. That is exactly what happened to me when I found this thread dedicated to John Wayne movies on Blu-ray: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=50706& I found it very helpful and ended up getting a few of those titles listed that I was not aware of. It in turn inspired me to create this thread, the James Stewart thread I've already created and the future ones I will create for other actors whose work I enjoy. I hope it doesn't offend you, no one else seems to mind. Lookie here, an example of what I'm talking about: I don't own it myself, but it's supposedly a step-down in quality compared to Death Wish II-IV on Blu-ray. That is why I haven't bought it yet, as I'm hoping for a better release in the US or perhaps Germany, who has released some great Bronson Blu-rays. Most of all I want a Death Wish Collection box set with all five movies, including the second one uncut, with extras included. Not likely to ever happen, but one can always dream. I just ordered mine a few days ago, is the picture quality bad? I don't mind if the audio is lossy.
