United Kingdom Steelbooks You'd Like Zavvi To Release!

I've just recently been caught in this zavvi steelbook craze, purchasing my first (Dick Tracy) and now 3 more that I'm waiting for.

I haven't seen a similar thread, so:

Can you name your 10 most wanted Blurays that you'd like to be released in a zavvi steelbook? (i thought to keep it at 10 so that you list your trully most wanted. of course, i assume we all would like hundreds of films in steelbooks )
they should be of course movies that could be released in a steelbook
(eg i'm sure a film like La Double Vie de Veronique, wouldn't be released).

I'm naming 5 that have been released as Blurays before and 5 that haven't been released in a Bluray.

steelbooks of Blurays already released:

- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)
- Bram Stoker's Dracula (i'd prefer though a new restoration)
- Poltergeist
- King Kong (1976)
- Romancing the stone (this is the first film I ever saw at the cinema, and maybe the first live action film I ever saw generally, so it holds a special place in my heart)

steelbooks of Blurays not yet released:

- Explorers
- Free Willy
- Krull
- An American Tail
- Supergirl

Tron Legacy
Stargate (so that I don't have to import it from Canada)

I guess that's all really.
Couldn't think of 10, lol.

The pictures on the net of Bram Stoker's Dracula are of the DVD release, so there is no actual steelbook for the blu-ray, or with the blu-ray logo.

This coffin edition looks good

Ichi the Killer
Lost Highway
Dawn of the Dead ('78 version)
Dredd 3D
Elite Squad 1 and 2

There are plenty of others for sure, but these are the first that came to my head.

No.
It's just that I've got all the films I want on blu-ray already, and most of them are in steelbooks in my collection anyway.

I thought I would do two lists, one of completely new titles and one of titles that already have Steelbooks that I think deserve better ones or would just like to see alternative versions of:

New titles
Blood Diamond
Catch Me If You Can
Layer Cake
The Machinist
Phone Booth
Quantum of Solace
Road to Perdition
Spider-Man Trilogy (separate Steelbooks)
Transsiberian
The Truman Show

Re-release titles
American Gangster
The Bank Job
Casino Royale
Con Air
Disturbia
Gone In 60 Seconds (2000)
Gran Torino
A History of Violence
In Bruges
Source Code

I couldn't limit it to just ten!

New:

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
A.I. Artificial Intelligence - Glossy would suit this one nicely.
Beetlejuice
Dark City - With a new transfer, please.
Dune - Both cuts, in widescreen, in a deluxe edition with insert cards or some other such bling.
Adventures of Baron Munchausen - The colors in the poster art for this one would look fabulous.
Galaxy Quest
The Fall - Lots of great imagery to pull from.
Nineteen Eighty Four - Both soundtracks, please.
The Abyss
The Iron Giant
Alphaville
(The last four not out on blu at all yet, BTW... though Alphaville is coming to Japan.)

Re-release:

Jurassic Park - Use one of the four-disc trays and drop the dvd copies, you'll finally have a nice slim G2.
Moon - I'm sorry, but the German version looks hideous IMO.
Sunshine - I know the new one isn't even out yet, but I think they can do better.
Evil Dead trilogy - Together or separately, just give us a nice complete set... Army of Darkness doesn't have a steel at all AFAIK, and the other two would be a mix & match proposition.
12 Monkeys - With something other than the North American amray art... and it's "12" not "Twelve"!
Jack Ryan collection - The German release only has the first three films. Timing would be good now with a new one coming out.
9 - Again, with something different from the amray art.
Akira - Time for a steel for the Funi release.

As Fox are slowly releasing their Marvel movies in each wave im waiting for Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. If the artworks not any good then I'll just buy the amarays.

Obviously need the Star Wars saga individually with original poster artwork (theatrical versions)

I know they will eventually but I'm desperate for Zavvi to add The Lion King to their Disney Steelbook Collection. Hurry up!

I would also say The Lord of the Rings trilogy but it seems like we're getting those next year...

Would be nice to get some sexy Spider-Man steels here too.

Oh and also A Series of Unfortunate Events. That's a must!

I'd quite like X-Men 3 just to round off the set.
