Default How To Get The Amazing Spider-Man UV 3D???? HELP

I must be blind, but I couldnt find this anywhere.

I have the amazing spider-man 3D Bluray Code UV , but when I redeem it on VUDU, it will only give me the 2D HDX. I read somewhere that you can get the 3D version by emailing them and sending them a picture of the code or something? HELP?

Much Thanks!

Did you redeem through Vudu? If so, open a case telling them that you went to the 3d redemption page of The Amazing Spider-man entered the code and tell them that you did not get the 3d version. Attach a picture of the code sheet to the case. Vudu will then give you a new code that will give you the 3d version of The Amazing Spider-Man. After you open the case, PM one of the Vudu forum moderators, I'd suggest Dan H, asking for the status of your case; this will expedite the process.

(I copied and pasted this from another post I previously made elsewhere on this forum, so no you're not blind. You did see it but just not here.)

Yep, I recently had to do this and it took a while but they eventually gave me a new code for the 3D version.

Now I have MIB III 3D but I cannot even find that on Vudu now, I know I've seen it before. Wondering if they will do the same for this one as well.

For MIB 3 in 3D look for MIB 3 3D: https://my.vudu.com/redeem.html

They may have to give you new code like before.

No idea if this will work but it's worth a shot. It probably won't so do it at your own risk.

https://my.vudu.com/redeem.html?eccid=383991

Notice the 383991 part of the code and look here:

http://www.vudu.com/movies/#!content/383991 ***This is where you would play the 3D version from on the PC if you owned it***

They removed the "Redeem" button from the page but it might possibly work for MIB 3 3D.

More info here: https://forum.vudu.com/showthread.ph...piderman/page8

The one that is for sure the 2D version has this link: http://www.vudu.com/movies/#!content...Men-in-Black-3 or alternatively this one https://my.vudu.com/redeem.html?eccid=338203 ***These are the one's that come up if you search for "Men in Black 3" on Vudu -- the 3D one listed above no longer appears in a search.***

Notice the 338203 number which is different from the other number in bold that I listed above.

The paper that was inside the blueray case says to redeem it on the Sony website..

https://ultraviolet.sonypictures.com/US/redeem

But doing it there will not give me the 3D version, or be elegible to ask VUDU for a 3D code?

HELP! :X

Nope. Sony and Vudu are 2 different companies and won't help out if you redeem on a different site. Sony might, but Vudu has stated before that if it's not redeemed through their website it's not their problem. Sony now actually gives you the option to either redeem through them, flixster or Vudu after you enter the code. Sony does not support 3D so your best bet is Vudu. Spider Man and MIB 3 seem to be the iffiest of the 3d codes. Hotel Transylvania and the last Resident Evil redeemed no problem (actually spider man did for me too, but others were not so lucky).

Have you already redeemed your code through Sony? If not, ignore where the code sheet is telling you to redeem and do as we are suggesting which is to redeem directly through Vudu. You will then need to follow the steps I listed above to get the 3d version of The Amazing Spider-Man. Go here to redeem: https://my.vudu.com/mobileRedeem.html?pn=moviecredits and type in The Amazing Spider-Man (3D)

I understand that part, but when I try to redeem any form of the amazing spiderman on vudu, it says invalid code? Maybe it's already been used?

Did you get the code from a sealed 3d blu-ray copy or did you already use this code to get the 2D HDX version? If the code was used for the 2D HDX version and you redeemed through Vudu, you can get a code specific to the 3d version from Vudu. If you redeemed through Sony, you will not be able to get the 3d version with that same code and Sony won't help you get the 3d version. If the code was bad from the get go, and if it was from a sealed package, contact Sony for a replacement code and when you get that replacement code, use it on Vudu's site.

Alright Thanks People For all of your help! Looks like the code I have is already used, so thats why its giving me an invalid code. Time to get a new one

If a code is already used, it will say invalid code right?
