What does everyone think about the ebay and amazon bluray cases that hold up to 10 disc ?
because im feeling a little uneasy storing so many expensive discs on a single case. Are the disc stored safely?. Any positive or negative stories about those bluray cases? http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-Pk-New-VIV...item27dabb9199 Im using a 10 disc case for the "friday the 13th bluray col". because of the issues with their cardboard sleeves. and a 6 disc bluray case for the "chucky col". because of how difficult it is for me to carefully remove each disc. i've got movies that i haven't watched in 5 years, i don't worry about the cases. what do the folks at amazon who have reviewed these cases said about them? how about you throw up a link so folks know what your referring to. i would say, if the case is made to a simple standard and if it's designed to hold 10 discs and if it's made to properly hold said discs i wouldn't imagine there being a problem with it. it will be interesting to hear what other folks have to say on this. also, are you using these cases for discs you have burned or something? or are you taking say a series of movies out of their original cases and putting them into one case? |

I may be a lil confused by this but what exactly is the purpose of a ten disc case?
I know some TV series can get extreme with their boxes, collections etc.... But that's also part of the reason one would buy it. For example I can't see taking the disc out of Spartacus or Sopranos to put them in a 10 disc case....... |

I like the idea of saving shelf space, but have only done so with a few such as adding my Toy Story 3D BDs to the fit in with the regular BDs and combined all of my Planet of the Apes (original) in to one case vice the big book with hubs that broke my disc. The part I hate about my own case (PotA) is making my own sleeve. I did, but it's not as nice as the ones you get when you buy them. I'm still trying to find a nice quality paper to make it look like an original (and yes I have been following the threads about making custom ones). Other than that, I like the idea of big cases instead of a lot of single ones.
BTW, here is the Amazon link for those too lazy to look it up to read the reviews ![]() |
