Default Netflix's "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" (Season 4)

Quote:
From “30 Rock” executive producers, Tina Fey and Robert Carlock comes this hilarious new comedy series starring Ellie Kemper (“The Office,” “Bridesmaids”) as a woman who is rescued from a doomsday cult and starts life over as a nanny for an Upper East Side socialite (Jane Krakowski from “30 Rock”) in New York City. Armed with just a backpack, light-up sneakers and a couple way-past-due library books, she takes on a world she didn’t think even existed anymore.

I've been sick for a week(still am ) and decided watch this, just finished it yesterday. Absolutely loved it! Really doubt it, but I hope it gets enough views for a Blu-ray release.

They announced the renewal before the series aired.

To add to what Doctor.Who said, I believe Netflix ordered two seasons from the get-go. So season 2 is a lock.

Absolutely love this show, my wife did the thing i hate though. She continued to watch it after i went to sleep. So now i have to catch up on my own time. Ellie Kemper is great and NBC messed up by not putting this on. Thank goodness Netflix picked up the slack.

Martin Short was definitely the highlight of the season for me, he was hilarious as the plastic surgeon.

I caught a commercial the other night and watched the first 2 episodes. Caught #3 the next night and will most likely watch another when the family goes to sleep. Hi-larious!

You don't have to hope. Netflix ordered a second season already.

Watching Ep 4 Carol Kane says such the best line
[Show spoiler] Change the channel I can't get news from a woman

The guest stars were pretty great. I was wondering when Tina Fey would pop up. Also cool to see her pal Jon Hamm...as well as Martin Short in a hilarious role. Plus Nick Kroll, Kiernan SHipka, Dean Norris, etc. Lots of great cast members.

Kind of found Titus to be a bit too annoying. Not sure about Lillian either lol

Kimmy reminds me a lot of Liz Lemon to an extent. The show feels like a safe rehash (to an extent) of 30 Rock. Which is a good and bad thing. The whole 1st season was created with NBC in mind so it will be interesting to see how the 2nd season changes with the fact the show can now have nudity, explicit language, etc. I hope they do not over do it though, I think it wasn't really an issue in the first season as it still felt "naughty" enough.

Jane Krakowski was a nice surprise. I didn't even realize she was in the series. But her character feels a lot like Jenna from 30 Rock and A LOT of critics and viewers have pointed that out.

Overall, it was an interesting watch for the most part. Not the best thing in the world, but it was a fun way to spend a few hours. I liked the actor who played Dong as well. Funny stuff there.

I really doubt season two will have nudity and swearing lol. The first season is getting great reviews, no reason to raunch things up just because they technically can, not to mention it'd give the show a much different vibe. If anything I'd say the length of episodes might change, but there were already some that ran 26-28min so probably not even by that much

Yeah, I don't see them having nudity or swearing. I don't even think they were done filming when NBC decided to pass on the series. The reason I think this is because of the line in "Kimmy Has a Birthday" "But being on this case is how I met your mother, which, by the way, is the name of a terrific television program you missed but can now binge-watch on Netflix" So if they were going to start swearing & showing nudity, I'm sure it would have happened in the first season.
