Default Most impressive movie restoration on Blu-ray?

For me it has to be mad max 2 Road Warrior. The movie looked horrible on the DVD. When it finally got released on blu ray, it was almost like seeing a new movie. I finally appreciated the colors, landscape etc.

There are many.

The Sound of Music
Ben Hur
The Ten Commandments
Journey to the Center of the Earth
The Wizard of Oz
Gone With the Wind (Even if the movie is not one of my favorites I still enjoy some of it and I have to say it looks incredible.)

In my opinion, it's a tie between Arrow's 2K remaster of The Long Good Friday, sourced from the Original Camera Negative, or L'Imagine Ritrovata's 4K remaster of Deep Red, also from the Original Negative. Either way, they both look amazing.

I'd say it's a tie between Ben-Hur and (the Todd-AO version of) Oklahoma. With Ben-Hur, the image is so detailed, you can make out every single extra's face. Everything's that in focus, and the image is absolutely clean. With Oklahoma, it's like looking out a window. It doesn't look like film or video; it looks like a live performance in front of you.

Watching both upscaled on my 4K TV made them look even more stunning. I honestly can't see genuine UHD versions of these looking better unless I were to press my face against the TV.

I don't have the most keen eye but the first that come to mind for me are X-Files and Twilight Zone

The re-release of My Fair Lady (50th Anniversary Edition) was stunningly gorgeous. Along with that one I must agree that these were incredible...

Lawrence of Arabia
Jaws
The Wizard of Oz
The Sound of Music
Ben Hur
The Ten Commandments

And I plan on picking up Spartacus soon!
