10 Years on Blu-ray 25 Title Collections - Sony, Paramount, Universal

I can't find listings for these on the site but I noticed them on the current 3 for 50% sale on Amazon.it, 25 movie box sets for Sony, Paramount and Universal Blu-rays released in Dec 2016.

I decided between the neat packaging and many unowned titles all three worth the $30 or so. I see stickers on one of the amazon pictures of the Sony set saying it's out of 1500, so I guess they're a limited deal.

These arrived today and I've looked at a few of the titles that have had multiple releases/remasters.

Bram Stoker's Dracula: 2015 master, with the new supplements, however it has 5.1 DTS-HD MA instead of the Atmos/TrueHD track on the US 2015 disc.

Taxi Driver: 2016 40th anniversary disc.

Apollo 13: 2015 Remastered disc.

Da Vinci Code/Angels and Demons: 2016 discs.

Interesting. Are the specs any different for The Godfather and Easy Rider? It would be nice if we got some lossless mono for Easy Rider.

That Paramount set is very tempting as I own none of those films.

Bought all 3 with Amazon Logistics due to deliver Monday.
One question if anyone has the Paramount set, I presume Italian Job is the remake rather than Michael Caine original. If the remake is it the reissue with lossless audio which was released in parts of Europe but not UK.

I watched the Italian Job disc last week, it is the remake and my memory is that it was lossless. I always check, and when it's not I take note and get annoyed (as I did last week when I watched The Killing Season 2 (DTS) and Death Sentence DE (DTS-HD HR), oddly both in an order I placed in part to specifically get Grindhouse with lossless theatrical cut), however I guess I'd want to double check before absolutely confirming. The rule with these seems to be that the most recently released Italian disc as of late 2016 was the one put in the set. Here is the back cover of the disc included, listing DTS-HD MA 5.1 Eng.

I can confirm that Spider-Man is the Mi4K disc.

I can also check on Godfather and Easy Rider though I would not expect any stealth remasters/reencodes, I gave up that hope after checking The Untouchables.

Choose whatever set has more movies that you think you will like and maybe choose the one that has more films that you don't already have

I'm guessing the majority are going by the studios, but there are some movies that are mixed studio ownership (Studio Canal esp).

I know I haven't had time to go through every disc, I could check any specific discs (though fwiw the sets seem to be sold out at Amazon now).
