As mentioned by others in here...
1 - Tear and Ripple effect with Slowdown - 4k movies only 2 - Top Left and Bottom Left corners of the screen are overly bright... the light is shinning through there more than any other part of the screen 3 - FAKE 4k picture. Why is LG able to get away with this? I feel extremely ripped off! |

I have the LG 55 UH7700 and I'm pretty happy with it.
The only thing I turned off in settings is: TruMotion - Takes out that Halo effect when objects or people are moving. LED Local Dimming - At first I thought I had a defective unit because there was light bleeding out on the screen, once I turned that off it went away. Can't say anything about 4K discs since I don't have a player yet but once I turned HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color on for my Roku the shows I watch look a hell of a lot better. When it comes to streaming 4k Dolby Vision (on Netflix) is when this TV shines, multiple colors pop out and the picture quality is fantastic, haven't been too impressed with some HDR streaming content. Just to clarify this is not an OLED TV. |
