seeing how Arkham Knight was handled, I won't touch a Rocksteady game, until the 'complete edition' is $40 or less
and I say that as someone who loved Knight, but the DLCs weren't worth the extra $40 (or was it $50?) that they were charging day 1 |

Now that I think about it, Oscorp is associated with Harry Osborne from Spider-Man. My mistake. But there rumors of SuperMan were linked to something back then with Rocksteady.
I found this PC mod with Superman in Arkham Knight. Gameplay starts at 1 minute with Superman. Interesting as it gives some idea of what the possible game could resemble in the Rocksteady style with Superman. |

Top Gun on NES is pretty bad too. I have never seen anyone successfully land the plane on the aircraft carrier.

I still remember the PS3 Superman from Treyarch was it? I had this on my 360 before it turned red ring and burnt out.
If they can learn from the mistakes of that prior game, then we'll be in good shape, plus the fact that Rocksteady knows their stuff for the most part, other than the strange instant leaping Batman does when fighting. |

Arkham Knight has tons of gameplay and story to enjoy without any DLC, so it was worth it for me. I actually enjoyed the batmobile/tank option quite a bit. I just don't like how the city areas were locked off until later on in the story. And the fact that it's constantly raining non-stop for the entire game. Even in one night, there's a lull in the rainfall once in awhile, but not in this game.
I would love if they made Superman's open world with real citizens roaming the streets instead of this wardened off city of Arkham, with just thugs all about. Half the fun of being the Dark Knight or superhero is helping those in need, the common citizen, just like in the movies when Batman or Superman rescue people in distress. Spider-Man thankfully takes that route with the games. |

Yes, hopefully E3 2018 for Superman the open city game to be shown.
What would be awesome is if you could walk around in a suit and glasses as Clark Kent, and then whenever you wanted to, go into a phone booth (remember those?) or garbage bin and fly out as Superman. For whatever reason, that screenrant article is MIA (missing in action). Maybe Rocksteady told them to take it down. |
