probably better you waited anyway. spending a bunch of money RIGHT AWAY(!) and then waiting for months on end sometimes doesn't help. much like me and all 6 seasons of Supernatural, yet i've only watched season 1 so far. hell, i'll be lucky if i get to season 4 by this coming BF when they'll be on sale again and could have just bought them then! oh well.

i don't really play much in the way of games either. aside from a nightly game of Tetris and / or Super Stardust HD that's all my PS3 is used for when it comes to games.

and hell, i haven't bought a blu-ray in about.... 3 weeks or so. well, aside from Drive on the 31st (duh) it's been about 4 weeks or so. and i likely will be selling a bunch of what's "left", which for me, includes Deadwood(!).

This is message #2 since there is a character limit...

That's your own fault, not mine. Believe it or not, I actually do plan on watching Deadwood this year. Now that I'm watching much more TV on Blu-ray, I won't be taking long breaks in between watching the few shows I watched before I got all of these other shows. I can fit in a season of Deadwood at some point between watching Season Four of True Blood and Season Three of The Vampire Diaries since they come out on Blu-ray three months apart. Justified's third season will be long over by then, so there won't be Timothy Olyphant overload either.

I forgot about that actually. It has been a long time since I've been in the PSN store. Actually, it's been a long time since I've played a video game on my PS3. I had to get Skyrim on the 360 because my brother only has a 360. He did pay for half of the game, so it's all good.

You update your collections. Then you'll probably sell a third of them...

Nope, he lives on according to the director... http://screenrant.com/drive-movie-ending-kofi-132077/

I might like some crappy movies, but my TV show collection is quite good. Just saying...

I obviously could have just bought all of the seasons of Dexter (and now of course Breaking Bad), but it made sense at the time to just get the first season to make sure before I spent the money on all of the seasons. I bought all of Mad Men and Weeds because the deals were too good to pass up.

this is message #2 since i just saw your post in the Movie Thread...

    1. i don't have time to look at your damn PS3 collection to quickly and sufficiently answer my questions! besides that wouldn't even help with you. you have Deadwood in your collection and god knows how many times you've watched that!

    2. the reason MGS isn't in the HD collection is because it's already available from the PSN store (or do the kids just call it "PSN" kind of like ATM and "ATM Machine" when 'M' clearly stands for "machine"... anyway... ) for 10 bucks, so go scoop it up!

which reminds me i have to update all of my collections...

...i think Driver (Gosling, since his character is never given a name) does die at the end. he drives off into the sunset to die. at least that's my thought on it it seemed like that type of ending from the get-go for me. but i'm not gonna look up what the director intends because i don't care that much

great to hear about Dexter and Breaking Bad. could've said "told ya" but since you (mostly) love crap it was never a sure fire thing you'd actually enjoy GOOD TV shows

I don't own the show at all, so it doesn't matter to me. I'm glad I held off on buying the DVD's of the first two seasons since, regardless of how much of an upgrade the Blu-rays are, they are still upgrades. I'm not sure if I will get them right away or not though.

I'm on a roll right now with TV shows. Breaking Bad's first season was an obvious hit, and now I'm loving Dexter already after four episodes. It's going to be expensive whenever the two shows go on sale again.

I will end this message by saying... WTF was that ending for Drive? I'm stabbed in the chest, but it's cool, no worries. I'll just drive to somewhere new and stare at other people rather than talk even though I should probably be dead.

ah yes, i forgot about the Big Bang Theory announcement! i'm excited for that

but at the same time not really since the show doesn't benefit that much from blu-ray so it will be two more purchases for things i already own that won't be getting a huge upgrade from the format. oh well

    You thought... WRONG!

Thanks. Pretty much. I still have to call them again because I've yet to get my refund on the three I sent back for exchange, but right now I'm just happy to finally have all 6 seasons now sitting on my shelf.

I was surprised that I only had to replace the case for one of the three seasons yesterday. Neither the plastic nor the security stickers stuck to the other two.

I finished the first season of Breaking Bad last Tuesday. It passed with flying colors. Now I just have to wait for the second season (and beyond) to go on sale again.

Next up will probably be Dexter. I was going to go with Weeds, but I might as well mix up the drug shows a little.

I'll also mention The Big Bang Theory again, but make you re-read my earlier message to find out what I said.
