Haha thanks! I hate when things get spoiled for me so I always do my best to make sure I don't ruin it for anyone else.

I know! Damn amazon! I was looking at Supernatural myself and The Vampire Diaries as well. Right after my "no tv seasons over 30 bucks" rule they make a whole bunch 28 freaking bucks don't know if I'll bite though...

You should buy Fringe you know you wanna!

Good job of discussing that stuff without spoiling anything. You get a .

So Deadwood has a lot of characters like Eric? Just checking.

I still will only buy tv seasons if I can get them all on Blu-ray. Fox is famous for only releasing one season and then not following them up with any seasons after.

Speaking of tv seasons, Amazon is trying to get me to spend more money that I don't want to spend. They now have the second season of Fringe on sale for $27.99, and I've actually been tempted to try out The Vampire Diaries and that is on sale now for $27.49. Bastards!

Good luck. Hopefully they arrive tomorrow for you.

also, i'm a big fan of Scrubs and season 8 was (maybe is) $16.99 the other day so i had to buy it. i used to never be one for buying a season on blu if the rest weren't (especially like, season 8 out of 9 seasons lol) but i thought, "eh, who cares. i'd rather watch it on blu anyway. so i bought it

hopefully that arrives tomorrow with 127 Hours, since neither arrived today

Eric kind of (at least to me, and i think he's written this way) flows back and forth. he seems really evil and bad, but at times does good things, or at least, helps out in a shady way that sometimes seems good. i like those types of characters better than just "i am good and he is bad" (which Deadwood has a lot of btw )

and yes, that girl really grew on me. i HATED her at the end of season 1, but she's actually a pretty awesome character in season 2. of course, we were supposed to hate her since she was so annoying, but i find that she is the audience a bit in season 2. asks questions, confused, angry, lost... that's us as we follow this madness!

Thanks. So am I, obviously. It's one of those films that you are surprised you never watched after watching it, but you're very glad you finally did.

Yeah, that was a pretty good moment. There were several, which isn't just because it's over 2 and a half hours long.

While I think pretty much everyone turned in pretty good performances, I do have to agree about him and his character. Their last phone conversation was indeed pretty good.

I just got done watching two more episodes of True Blood. Still weird, but pretty good. I know he's kind of a bad guy, but I'm enjoying Eric, especially the conversations between him and Bill. I'm even starting to like Bill's whatever you want to call her after the four episodes. I know it's hard to talk about this without spoilers, but please don't. It is addictive and I could probably run through the season in a week, but I won't.

awesome! glad you ended up loving it!

i love the scene in the bus when they all sing "Tiny Dancer", awesome, awesome moment

and Phillip Seymour Hoffman stole the show in the minimal scenes he was in. hysterical, true and just downright awesome his character was. i love he even admits to just being a lonely loser who listens to albums in his house

Sorry, dinner was ready before I got to finish this... Ok, so Almost Famous. I wasn't sure how much I would like it after a few parts here and there, but I can't deny after it ended that I downright loved it. The write-ups and such on the back of movies are usually just promotional crap, but it is actually true that it feels like you are actually on tour with Stillwater and everyone.

Another thing that was nice was recognizing people that I recognize from other movies, but they look so much younger. Jay Baruchel looked so young. I know it's because he was, but I'm sure you get my point.

I think another reason why I liked it so much is because two of my favorite bands right now are still fairly unknown bands. They are really cool and hang with their fans at shows. Nothing to the extent of this movie, but that's not really possible often in this time.

yeah the awards themselves are all i care about. all the preview / pre-award crap is awful and full of awkward jokes and questions that get asked by a million people the same damn way. would drive me nuts if i was a hollywood star.

uh oh, i hope that means you enjoyed Almost Famous! but it doesn't sound like it for some reason

I pay release day price for True Blood, but you already know that and know why. Deadwood is a different story since it's a whole series, although HBO doing a killer job with it still obviously applies.

That would be awesome if I decide I actually want both. It's not really a huge deal overall since I think they could have done better with the slip and case cover art combo (something more like Transformers where the title and such isn't on both. It's nice, but I noticed at Walmart that you can see the title and such right through the slipcover.

Can't say I am. I actually am not much of a fan of award shows. I used to watch music ones, but they became such a joke that I don't really get into that kind of a thing anymore. Too bad since I'm a big fan of Anne Hathaway and her and James Franco should be great hosts.

I just got done watching Almost Famous (or if you want to be technical, then Untitled). I need another message for that...
