If you're not too worried about shipping it in a jiffy bag then the shipping costs would be 3.50€+1€ for packaging supplies+1€ for handling fees and then the BD is 8.95€ so totaling at 14.45€($19.05). But I'm not sure yet when the group buy will happen as naturally I'd prefer ordering everything at the same time. I'm off to bed now but I'll get back to you soon.

    Hey,

Blu-ray sales have been out of hand but hey, I have the money and bills are paid, why not splurge if I can, right? I figured I'd barely break even in March between bills and all the wonderful releases this month but I'm doing pretty awesome! But all is going well here otherwise.

    Hey,

Belle de jour is probably the only one officially OOP but then again you own it already. Le Mépris is awesome. You can check out all the now available and upcoming SCC titles here. If you're interested in any Finnish films or Nordic releases let me know. I believe most are English friendly.

    Hey,

Spartacus is definitely something I might enjoy. I've heard nothing but good things about it. Hah I've seen only the original and I remember enjoying especially the big crash scene(are we even talking about the same movie here?). I've mainly watched my unwatched films lately, Star Wars and Godfather Collection and done some spring cleaning to my collection. I've been quite busy lately with school and other projects. Oh, just in case you're interested, it seems I've ended up organizing a possible Studio Canal Collection group buy for fellow members here. Most of the SCC titles are on sale here for 8.95€ each or two for 15€. As you know, they are usually about 16-20£(19-25€) and some are even OOP by now.

    Hey buddy,

Have you seen anything good lately?

    Take care!

Yeah, while I was disappointed that it didn't get nominated, I also didn't really expect it to be.

Definitely a go on 71 Into the Fire. That was an excellent film. Highly recommended and the CineAsia release from the UK has a stellar presentation.

Yeah, I generally avoid handing out a '10' rating, but honestly, for how much I enjoyed the film, and for what I thought was really an 'almost' perfect movie, I couldn't see any reason to not give it a 10. I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did. You'll have to let me know your impression after you get a chance to check it out.

I liked Warrior, too. Nolte was fantastic, and I always enjoy Tom Hardy as well. Good movie overall, better than I had expected going in.

I really should rate many of the other films I have watched. I sometimes forget to do that and then have to go back and rate them later, or sometimes I just don't rate them at all.

Nice. Yeah, it really was a magical film, wonderful story about some of the roots of cinema, and the great director George Melies. I definitely recommend it. I have not seen 'The Artist' yet, but wow it must be something special, as after seeing Hugo, I was shocked that this did not win best picture at the Academy awards. It really is marvelous.

    Hey Todd!

I watched 'Hugo' last night for the first time. It was wonderful. Great film, and gorgeous presentation. The BD is excellent. I think I remember you mentioning that you saw it already, but if not, definitely consider it! Hope you are well.

Glad to hear it. I thought you would. Yeah, me too. Really enjoyed the acting, and the soundtrack was great. I watched 'The Skin I Live In' again last night, this time with the wife. I kept talking about it, so she caved and had to check it out. Even she loved it, we ended up discussing it for about an hour after we got done. Looking forward to see what you think of that.

Take care as well, my friend! Cheers.

Nice. They just posted the US review for London Blvd. I thought ML was a bit hard on it. I agree more with Pro-Bs review of the UK disc. Anyways, I hope you enjoy it. It has an awesome soundtrack.

Thanks for the mini-review of Branded. I'll definitely pick it up then. I am not sure Tokyo Drifter is my cup of tea, but I may end up checking that out as well. I ordered Three Outlaw yesterday, looking forward to that.

Have a great weekend as well, Todd!
