I'm actually wondering if it might be worth doing a small, informal group buy for Steelbook Central's SCF1 and SCF2 covers. I don't really want to be the point person, but it would be beneficial if there was enough interest in buying ~200 or so. If you're like me and only want to try a few (example, 10 costs $21 shipped, 20 costs $33 shipped) it would be worth it to do a group buy and get them for about $1 each + $5.95 flat rate shipping in the US.

Or does this sound like a bad idea? I don't really want to buy 200+ on my credit card just to get stuck with them.

Let me know what he says, I'm very curious to hear what can be done.

I'm not sure how that would affect your # though, maybe they will ask what # yours is? It seems most of the Asian retailers print these up first and then applying the #ing afterwards.

I just posted in the steelbook sleeves thread hoping to get some last minute help. I think I figured out what sleeves I need to get, just hoping somebody who owns them can verify for me that I'm getting the right ones. I would really like to place an order soon, it seems most take a week to 2 weeks to show up.

Hmm... it depends, how small/large is it? If it is very noticeable, I might be tempted to try to get a replacement? I just know with some of the lentis, Blufans has been known to scratch them and then pack them up and ship them. I would prefer a small crease over a scratched lenti if they are facing out.

Did you get it through Kevin's GB? I know a few people were able to get replacement lentis from him. You would have to open your set to put the replacement on, but it that doesn't bother you too much, it could be a much cheaper way to get it fixed (they might even replace it at no cost). I'm probably the exception to most collector's, I don't mind opening mine if I know I'm going to keep it because then I get to enjoy everything I paid for.

And speaking of opening things, I really need to get some protective cases for my steels! Especially with my Nova's showing up this week!

I'm still watching the MoS set... those silly sellers are dropping the price about a dollar a day. If they keep this up, I won't feel so bad to order it. I've been double and triple dipping a lot lately.

Nothing exciting like your Stormtroopers for me this week. The only exciting thing to show up besides Thor was my coin sets. Got 5 LOTR coins and 3 GOT coins. I finally have a "Hand of Highgarden" to put with my Tyrell set.

My Drive and Lone Survivor steels hit LA customs! Hopefully just a few more days now!

Maybe a stomach bug? I love jello, gatorade, and saltine crackers when I feel that way. Do you get the weekend off to rest up and feel better?

But.... wow!!!! Those Stormtroopers are amazing! They even thought to make one a bit taller than the other? I actually think it's a nice touch so it doesn't look like you got two of the same. Are there any other variations between the two that I can't see? Now you just have to get some pics of them facing off against your Jedi Knights.

And... this is kind of horrible of me, but I've been watching 3 sellers on Amazon go back and forth undercutting each other on that MoS set. If they keep this up, it will be free by the weekend!

I sold Theory too, that set only cost me $9 now. If I want to watch them, I will watch them on blu.

Hmm... I'm thinking I might do it. Lowest is only $13-$14, even it it arrives a little dinged up I think I can live with that. I already have the standard amaray though, I have no idea where I'll put this beast. It looks huge from the photos!
