You and I exchanged a couple of messages a few months ago regarding the appearance of the Batmobile at the Wpg Arena car show back in 1966 (or was it 1967?).

I turned 7 four weeks before the premier on Jan 12, 1966 so I was there at the beginning. I remember that there was network difficulties throughout the first episode so we wound up staring at the show's logo screen for close to half of the 30 minutes. It was maddening!

There was no "IN COLOR" TV at our place until 1972 lol.

The number I got was 56,335. I guess there is no regional consistency.

Normally, I try to save a buck anytime I can. This is a rare exception for me. Given the exchange rate, the Canuckian price is about $175.00...plus the darn taxes. So that's not TOO bad.

Hope you enjoy it. I don't know about you but I'm a first generation fan...watched in as an 8 year old on the old Eaton's Viking B&W TV set.

Timsta, I didn't find it at a Costco...that was a guy from Saskatoon who mentioned Costco.

I found my set at the Polo Park HMV. I just checked their stock online. They still show 10 units in stock. The downtown store shows 2 in stock.
