Maybe if I saw the movie again. Instead seeing Sana Lathaan as a cheap grab to get an urban audience, and more in the terms of Machiko Noguchi-infuence maybe I can get past some of it. Still, the watered-down, sanitized violence, excessive CGI and overall creature design still gets to me. The yuatjas (yeah, I went here) look like clunky guys wearing football padding. Perhaps I was so upset when I saw it, which was only the one time in the theater, that was actively looking for things to be upset about instead of enjoying the ride. Then I think of how they totally wasted a big, interesting opportunity to incorporate Weyland (and I LOVE Henriksen, too).
I skipped Requiem. It looked like an excuse for gore w/o substance (like The Fly II). The novelty of watching them run around the suburbs would've worn off pretty quick.

My colletion consists of the original action figure line, including the Alien and Predator double-pack as well as the camo-Predator mail-in and McFarlane deluxe AvP figures ( can't find a good pic), and comics. I have a lot of original runs of the series, and omnibuses. I have a lot of stand-alone Predator comics and novelizations, too. This was my first novelization:

My dad got it for me when we went to San Diego Comic-Con in 1994 (the 50th Anniversary of Godzilla!) when I was 8 y/o.

Like I said, my favorite item is the original short-story in Dark Horse Presents #36 (

I'm afraid not, ebay seems to be the only place now but once they appear on that site everybody knows about it. I do get asked to sell the eggs alot as people want them to go with their alien warrior maquette.

The shipping was very expensive for that Alien bust, $85, that's more than they are asking for the bust itself, then there's customs. I'll give that one a miss, they appear on uk ebay every now and again.
