Sorry I haven't checked in for a while. Been busy with some stuff away from work and have been watching all of the Rocky movies. Football season is on the way, meaning I and some of my friends and staff will have most of our free time disappear until February.

I did manage to finish a Devil May Cry clone called Soulstice on the Series X. Started the remastered Sniper Elite 2 a few days ago. I just love those games and the different ways you can dispatch your enemies.

I hope you and your family are doing well, and that you enjoy your gaming. I haven't felt like posting in the forums much, but they'll always be here.

Just wondering if you've watched RoboCop 2 yet. I have my copy but have watched Roadhouse and (finally) Goodfellas the last couple of nights. I enjoyed the look of both.

Also, I'm finally on Crysis 3. Forgot about having the bow. Love to sneak around as much as the game will let me, like the Sniper Elite series.

Not sure if you've been keeping up, but we started a bunch of horse jokes (don't ask) in the Nightmare on Elm Street thread. DallyWhitty got banned for three months. The thread was locked twice at last count. Just another week in the forum. Hope you're doing well and will check in from time to time.

Sorry I missed your last message. I've been playing Crysis 2 the last week or so and it's funny that the first achievements for the two games are titled, "Can it run Crysis?" Curious as to the RPGs you get into. Many of those are way too long for me to complete the story so I never get into them. Also, I stay away from games that are too difficult if they don't have an option do lower the difficulty. Reflexes aren't what they used to be, so no Dark Souls stuff.

The last few nights I've watched the three Fraser Mummy movies, and wound up with five arriving from Amazon today. I did get a few of the Walmart BD markdowns. I watched "The Iron Claw" and was floored by how great it was. Taking an anti inflammatory and muscle relaxer for my back, which help a lot.

Ah, I finished the remastered Crysis on Series X recently. I watched Rolling Thunder just a while ago. Been a while and I really enjoyed it. I am looking forward to Robo 2 and next week it's Mute Witness. Been having back issues lately, so a good time for these things.

Question for you posed as a hypothetical: If a movie you loved received a excellent 4K remaster that was only available digitally i.e iTunes, with the physical media alternative of said movie being a Blu-Ray that uses a old, dated scan - which would you choose? And lets just pretend that "waiting for the UHD" is out of the question.

I'm not sure if you're a fan of the first 3 Die Hard movies, but the above is true right now for Die Hard 1-3.

I respect you as a poster. I'm genuinely interested in your anwser.

Yeah, worth a try, I would be if I had a gaming PC since the KS8000 has pretty low input lag in Game Mode.

I think the HDR in general got a boost too, from what I was reading about 1220, so this TV is still really kicking ass 2 years on.

Yo, man! I know you got back into gaming like crazy and have the KS8000 too. I got the 1220 firmware update for it the other day, and it finally made it so Game Mode has separate profiles for SDR and HDR now, like Movie Mode etc always had.

I always thought it was no big deal, but now I don't need to keep it at a sweet spot for both SDR/HDR or ever change it when switching between them. Can finally open the exhaust a little and it's like a revelation all over again. Feels like I just got a new TV haha.

Been playing HDR heavy PS4 Pro stuff like God of War, Infamous Second Son, Ratchet & Clank Remake, Wipeout Omega Collection etc everything looks insane.

Velvet, just replaced my projector with a 4K panel. Don't have a player yet but I wanted to know your top pics for PQ? I've already decided on Ghostbusters 1&2, Fifth Element, John Wick 1&2 and Unforgiven.

    Thanks in advance
