Default Hollywood Video

Here in my city in Minnesota, both Blockbusters have closed and the two Hollywood Video stores remain. I see that they are now finally promoting Bluray on their website. I hope to see more than one BD copy of Bank Job on the shelves in my city. It looks like they will be offering a bit more of a selection, and hopefully some catalog titles. Right now in this store, it's like crowding in at the 5x8 porno rental section of the old VHS rental stores..lol

But, I was surprised today when I rented Vantage Point and Ruins that they asked for additional money for a damage deposit. They can't repair Bluray discs that fail onsite apparently.

Also, the whole staff has turned over including the long time manager in a single week. It makes me wonder who is winning the retail DVD rental battle Blockbuster? Netflix? Hollywood?

What is the state of Bluray selection for rent where you live? Which store?
