its very user friendly and works great, i used it first when i bought my first ipod used off ebay and wated to keep some of the songs that came on it from the previous owner, but when i plugged it into itunes, the program wanted to delete everything and replace it with my current library, this way i was able to keep what i wanted and then add all the rest of my music
