if you go to www.download.com, there is a program called igadget, it allows you to take the songs off an ipod and transfer them into itunes or into a backup folder, i think it should work for what you are talking about, the download is a 7 day free trial and then you have to pay for a code to unlock it for further use
its very user friendly and works great, i used it first when i bought my first ipod used off ebay and wated to keep some of the songs that came on it from the previous owner, but when i plugged it into itunes, the program wanted to delete everything and replace it with my current library, this way i was able to keep what i wanted and then add all the rest of my music |
