I would agree with this assessment, I've seen far worse Hollywood conversions. It's definitely not "shoddy" 3D, and looked infinitely better to me than something like
Outcast .
The one issue with the Hong Kong release is that the English subtitle track subtitles all dialogue but Scott Adkins speaks English throughout so it would have been nice to have a subtitle track that cuts his lines out. But it's not a big deal.
