Yes, only those models with the X1 Extreme processor will get the Dolby Vision update. Last year's Z9D, and this year's 930E, 940E, and A1E.
As for players, the only ones confirmed to get Dolby Vision are the Oppo 203/205, LG UP970, and Philips BDP7502.
