Cinema Digital Sound system which was the first digital sound system for movies (predating the current DD/DTS/SDDS). Unfortunately CDS was plagued with reliability problems back then and was discontinued
But thanks to Blu-Ray, we can now enjoy the "return" of something that was ahead of it's time
