Any chance you have the DTS demo discs? I know the 2017 one has DTS X Headphone demos on it. I haven't checked them out yet, but will when I'm home next week.
If DTS X Headphone works well, that'd be way cool for late evening movies.

The 3060 came only with one disc which is the owners manual, I haven't played it, there could be a demo there but I doubt it. Because there is so little information available I don't know whether the decoder in the receiver must support it and may be mine doesn't.
I have also noticed that "Jason Bourne" UHD (which I don't have to try) actually states at the back "DTS X Headphone" so that adds to the layer of uncertainty. Do the movies need a special surround addition or any DTS X movie will have it even if it doesn't say so.
If you get the chance I would please like to know what you find about your DTS disc and your receiver, I pressume you have the 3070.
Also do listen to that youtube video I've linked, for me at least on that demo, DTS X headphone sounds sufficiently convincing to keep trying to find out more about.
Watching movies late, even at low volume with the speakers is just too explosive. So an acceptable faux surround with headphones would be very welcomed.
