And whereas I think Dunkirk will be a big player at the Oscars... it never stood a chance at the SAG Awards as it isnt really an actors movie inasmuch as it was a tremendous film. The acting is all amazing, but it is the scope of the film itself that is what made it. Really hope to see Nolan grab an Oscar for director this year.

Although I see that Dunkirk DID get a much deserved nomination for their Stunt Performers.
One thing that can always be an issue is screening films that have yet to be released in time for enough SAG members as it's a huge group. Often late releasing performance won't show up here but will at the Oscars (Downsizing is the only yet to be released film to score any nominations, and I fully expect actors like Day-Lewis and Streep to make the Oscar list).

Anyway, after somewhat underwhelming Globe performances, I feel like Lady Bird and Get Out are the big winners here, as well as Denzel Washington (wasn't really considering him as a contender, but with Globes and SAG think you have to). The losers are Call Me By Your Name (no ensemble and particularly no supporting actor nomination when it had two shots), and Tiffany Haddish and Patrick Stewart (if anything they seemed like better chances at SAG than the academy, and combined with no Globe nom feels like any critic's choice nomination momentum is gone).
