I don't understand their mentality of 24p on re releases and Doctor Who seems to get this a lot. The only thing the original release could of done with is DTS-HD MA upgrade from DTS-HR.
Wait, for real? Why the hell would they do that when the 50Hz discs are readily available?!

Thinking about it, I'm still really unsure why the BBC/2 Entertain keep using different masters anyway. All the different 24Hz, 50iHz and 60iHz constantly are such a waste of resources. I get that the US release has to be something other than 50Hz, but it's ridiculous how they keep shoving the EU with all these terrible/slowed down transfers when they have the native 50Hz transfer since they always have them...

Also the 4k release uses a slowed down transfer, despite the blu-ray that's included is correct. And from what I can find out, the Sherlock 4k blu-ray is in the correct speed, so lord know what they're thinking! It's so strange...
