I don’t really see it too too much on sports but in Blu-Ray it is very noticeable. I also noticed it on Pirates of the Caribbean.
My question is this, Is this just the 120Hz or is it something else as well? I bought the Transformers Blu-Ray and played it on my 720p Plasma and didn’t see what I was seeing in Fry’s. And if it is the 120Hz, why can’t I see it on Plasma? Doesn’t Plasma go at something like 400+Hz?
Yer not gonna get that "look" on plasmas mate! You need to change teams and go for a Sony or Sammy LCD..they come with these things called "motion enhancers"/"motion flow" which gives you that "soap opera" [not my words!] look. My Sony [60 hz] does the deed. I don't care for it, but my point is that you will get a similar look with an lcd thats 60hz as well.
