Homicide is the broader term. There are 3 types of homicide: justifiable, excusable, and criminal.
Criminal homicide is then divided into: murder, voluntary manslaughter, and involuntary manslaughter.
Then there's felony murder, which pretty much means you're royally f'd if you commit it.
