Hey, fellas! I have a little concern regarding a Target pre-order I made and was hoping someone with prior experience might know more about this.
I placed a pre-order for about $50 for an item a couple of months ago using my credit card and it would sit as a "Pending Charge" for about a week, then drop off, then get re-authorized again. This is normal, I know.
Today, I noticed that it was re-authorized again and only shows as one pending transaction on my credit card for about $50.
BUT it seems exactly
TWICE that amount has been removed from my Available Balance!
It seems they attempted a new authorization (fine), but they never returned the funds from the previous one back to my available balance. They are supposed to go back when it drops off and it has. There is only one transaction for the amount, not two.
Uhh... what the heck, Target? What about folks who budget their balance carefully?
I have another pre-order for about $150 with them. Should I expect to randomly have them take out $300 from my Available Balance whenever they want?
