My Deadpool v Wolverine (non-steelbook) and Ghost 4Ks look to be on track to arrive tomorrow, which I won't complain about. Sixth Sense and Signs could get here Wednesday, but I assume Thursday is more likely, based on when they shipped and the slowness of Mail Innovations.

Well it's finally happened. I got my first damaged upon arrival steelbook. Naked Gun steelbook was shipped in the mail and arrived as bent as a bendy straw.
Since the box it came in and the other items in said box, including another steelbook, were damage free, I'm thinking Naked Gun was already damaged before it was even packed. Doesn't much matter though since Target issued the refund and did not ask for the item back. That was kind of surprising. Hey, fellas! I have a little concern regarding a Target pre-order I made and was hoping someone with prior experience might know more about this.
I placed a pre-order for about $50 for an item a couple of months ago using my credit card and it would sit as a "Pending Charge" for about a week, then drop off, then get re-authorized again. This is normal, I know. Today, I noticed that it was re-authorized again and only shows as one pending transaction on my credit card for about $50. BUT it seems exactly TWICE that amount has been removed from my Available Balance! ![]() Uhh... what the heck, Target? What about folks who budget their balance carefully? I have another pre-order for about $150 with them. Should I expect to randomly have them take out $300 from my Available Balance whenever they want? Last edited by Kylo_Ren; 10-21-2024 at 10:04 PM. |

I am not even sure if I should just wait for it to properly reflect, contact my bank, or reach out to Target at this point.
This is why I am not a fan of pre-ordering from them. The almost constant hold can be frustrating, but this is just next level! haha |

I hope I don't jinx it, but I've never had this type of problem with Walmart.
When I pre-order with them, they do a pre-authorization once which lasts only a few days, drops off, and returns my funds. I then don't hear from them again until the week before release when they charge me again. They've never done what Target does to me. I did have a problem with Walmart recently, but that was a different thing entirely. They claimed "payment failure" due to overselling the Deadpool & Wolverine steelbook. haha |
