On page 14 of the installation manual of the Sony projector it goes into details about how many feet away the installation needs to be for screen size

On a front projector you need not only a dark room but also a stereo system or surround system to hear audio. Also a screen needs to be selected. This type of setup will not work in all bedrooms.
