Promotional Group announces record HD DVD hardware sales following Black

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Following landmark Black Friday

Promotional Group today announced that sales of dedicated HD DVD players
exceeded the 750,000 mark. The data is based on retailer reports and other
point of sale data, and includes standalone set-top players as well as the
Xbox 360 HD DVD player.

AS WELL AS THE XBOX360 HD DVD player..yea the EXTERNAL DRIVE play's
HD DVD movies , and the people that BUY that ADD ON for the xbox360 are useing it for to play HD DVD movies..but the thing is.....
they count that along the same lines as dedicated....O'L please
dedicated...that's like adding an external Blu-Ray drive to any PC ,because I bought it to watch Blu-Ray movies..
if that is what the HD DVD promotional group wants to count as a dedicated player. the BDA could very well release a ADD on for PC with an EXTERNAL Blu-Ray ROM drive and call it a dedicated Blu-Ray player....
yea 100% stupid HD DVD promotional group....what's next i buy a laptop with a HD DVD drive so now you can add in that too....
but yet they don't count the Playstation 3 as a dedicated Blu-Ray player when they want to TOUT Attach rates...BUT YET IT COUNTS FOR THE XBOX360 ..that's like saying i ADD a Blu-Ray add on to PC's so now i can call my PC a dedicated Blu-Ray player..that is just Silly......but that is exactly what the HD DVD promotional group say's its alright when releaseing total "DEDICATED" player sales #'s
