aside from being in a crappy aspect ratio, i don't think many sitcoms would get the treatment.
maybe for bigger shows (Cosby Shows, M*A*S*H, Seinfeld and others) once blu-ray really demolishes the market share with DVD, then companies might take the plunge, but i don't think before that. sadly, because there are a few shows i would really love to see Seinfeld hit blu-ray. watching it on TBS in "widescreen" is almost odd, seeing as i'm so used to the boxy dvd ratios
