i agree with you 100% though, the sports games are the same every year. what i would really want is instead of a yearly thing, make it a bi or even tri-yearly thing. The big reasoning for having these things yearly in the past is all the transactions that occured from year to year. However, in a time where all consoles have an internet connection, release a great game that you worked on for a few years, if there are roster changes update them via the internet. Work on making the game significantly better and give yourself the time too, release the next installment, that is considerably better and different two or three years later. repeat process. problem is the devs are too greeedy and this wouldn't make them nearly as much $.
