I liked the sound of Drive before I saw it. So I was expecting a lot before I watched it for the first time. I was mesmerised from the start. Its just so damn cool! 
It helps that they couldnt have got the music more spot-on if they tried. If this one had a generic Hollywood rawk soundtrack it wouldnt have been the same. Yeah Ron Perlman is a bit over the top maybe but he doesnt spoilt it. Albert Brooks is great! Gosling and Mulligan are brilliant of course. |
The music was really a perfect match! I watched it last night on netflix to see if I would want to get the blu I loved it I just hated
