What alternate dimension have you been living in the past however many years? "Release day" has always been the day you go to the store and pick something up or walk to your door and take the item from your postman or UPS guy. "Release day" has NEVER been an indication of the day something may or may not SHIP. Ever. Not once. Not until now. That would be the SHIPPING date.
