There really isn't any good way. They used to have a discount section, but got rid of it when they closed Google Play and went to the Google TV app. Just have to search on the Shop tab on the app.

I go to YouTube to find my deals since it links to your Google library, they usually have a hot deals of the week list that updates Wednesdays. Also I've been using the play deals banner up top even though it's just US. But sometimes the deal will appear in Canada too but a couple bucks more ie. 4.99 is vs 6.99 cdn

One other thing I do is monitor sale prices on iTunes. Usually if a movie goes on sale on iTunes it goes on sale on Google TV too. Killers of the Flower Moon is a rare exception where it went on sale on Google, but not on iTunes.

Lots of movies $4.99 on iTunes this week - too many to list. Lots of Disneys too. A lot of the same movies seem to be the same price over on Google TV as well. Just got Jack Reacher 2 and Manchurian Candidate for $4.99 each on Google TV.

Is Apple doing some weird thing where they severely reduce a TV box set for like 24 hours? Community was 12.99, then Saul was 14.99, now Barry is 12.99.

Not really a sale but movies that were exclusive to Apple TV started showing up on Google TV. Both Greyhound and Spirited are now on Google TV/YouTube for $14.99 each.

Star Trek shows are on sale. Original Series, TNG, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise. Various prices for each. DSN and Voyager are $39.99 each. I just got both as they're the only two series I don't own yet thanks to no Blu-rays.
