There really isn't any good way. They used to have a discount section, but got rid of it when they closed Google Play and went to the Google TV app. Just have to search on the Shop tab on the app.

I go to YouTube to find my deals since it links to your Google library, they usually have a hot deals of the week list that updates Wednesdays. Also I've been using the play deals banner up top even though it's just US. But sometimes the deal will appear in Canada too but a couple bucks more ie. 4.99 is vs 6.99 cdn

One other thing I do is monitor sale prices on iTunes. Usually if a movie goes on sale on iTunes it goes on sale on Google TV too. Killers of the Flower Moon is a rare exception where it went on sale on Google, but not on iTunes.

Lots of movies $4.99 on iTunes this week - too many to list. Lots of Disneys too. A lot of the same movies seem to be the same price over on Google TV as well. Just got Jack Reacher 2 and Manchurian Candidate for $4.99 each on Google TV.
