Best Of Soundstage - Blu-ray Forum

Sears sells various Soundstage blu rays including- Best of Soundstage, My Sony player plays all but this one blu ray. I put in the most recent firmware and still this one blu ray will not play, but it will play in a Samsung. Has anybody else experienced this with that title?

This particular disc also does not play for me. I'm using a Samsung HT-BD2E with latest firmware.

I have a problem with the 2511 playing the "Best Of Soundstage" blu-ray. Only disc I have ever had issues with. Have done the firmware upgrade. When the disc starts to play, it displays the copyright warning, then plays 5 notes of the intro, then locks up the player. Only way to open drawer is to unplug player & keep pressing drawer button till it opens. I have had 3 different copies of this disc with the same results. Also will not play in my Sony 301 either. But will play in playstation 3. Tried my brothers Samsung 1500 & it works there also. Any ideas. Cannot even get Memorex to respond about this problem.

Even being current on firmware has not resolved this issue. I already replaced this disc once without any apparent benefit. The disc played fine in the store on a Samsung BD Player and the picture was quite good on the Heart song playing at the time. Very disappointing to not be able to play this disc. For what it's worth, the disc plays perfectly fine on my Sony BDP-S350.
