Exclamation samsung bd-p1000 HDTV HELP!

I need help! I got a Dell 17inch HDTV! and i just bought the samsung bd-p1000 player, im using hdmi-dvi connector. When it i turned on both devices it load as a pinkish screen for a few seconds, then it goes black and starts blinking and lcd on the player says 1080i, but my tv support 720p. What should i do? Should i return the player, and go back to oppo digital upconvert player!

I agree. You would be much better off by watching a BD on a 30 inch SD from 20 feet away. 17" is way to small to watch BD on. You can't get the full HD experience.

You don't want one of those.... They are not even considered an official HD DVD player. And they can only output 1080p on an LG TV.
