yes yes my sony BDP-S360 got here today an i ordered it late saturday night yay amazon. i popped a copy of the movie Stealth in and i do see a difference. even paused it to a stand still and its very very clear on pause. i like what i see so far. so far its got me happy and i have some questions with hdmi cables. is expensive better or is that just a theroy or a story. ive got the phillips hdmi cables. like you buy at wal mart for i think its 27$ they seem to do ok. on the blue rya player my dvd player i had before and my xbox 360. i did notice wally had some nice sony hdmi cables under there sony 360. said it was recomended using that cable they are 40$
anyway i guess i need to go to sonys site an check for updates.

so far i do like the player ive got a copy of happy feet on blu ray im check it out. thinkin of going an renting a movie on blu ray any ideas what i should rent? that really show the stunning effects of blu ray ?

Uh oh, like the cable war begin. This same question has caused many thread feuds. With that said, I use cheap cables from monoprice.com and the picture/audio is outstanding. They're even cheaper than what you can buy them for at Wal-Mart even with shipping. If the more expensive cables do show any difference, which I doubt they do, I'd be hard pressed to tell.

What he said. Monoprice cables...cheap, work perfect and they ship very quickly. I currently am using three on my setup. Neato colors too. :-)

No, they're fine unless you experience pixelation (don't know if that's even a word but it works) then chances are you have a bad cable. Relax and enjoy.

i love the player i could tell the difference in movies. i rented a blu ray disc the International and very nice pic. they seem alot more clear an brighter as well. love the thing
