Default Panasonic bp35 vs bp60

I found me some excellent deal to get bd35 over bd60. So i am interested what is the major difference between the two? Except that bp60 is newer
model.

Thumbs down

Haven't you seen all the problems and Posts? I wouldn't get either one, save your pennies and get an Oppo. If you must decide from these two, get the BD60 only because it's newer and will probably play most of the Blu-ray discs.

Obvious Oppo shill above. Gets old seeing them butt in every thread. Just like those PS3 buttheads all the time.

The 35 is a fine machine. The 60 adds some movie download capability (netflix maybe?). I think the rest of the 60's capabilities are basically the exact same thing.

Oppo seems like a nice machine too, but the 35 should be a lot cheaper and nearly as good at playing blu-rays and DVDs.. It's my current player for blus and am quite happy with it.

And have you check the playback issues for oppo? Come on, every player has its own issue. I'm getting my panny 35 directly from panasonic.

Alchav21, ps3 was also trashed as not so good bluray player. I have two of them (us and europe version) and i did not have any playback issues whatsoever with any of them.

Thx fdm, i'll get 35 as it is cheaper for me and imho a great bluray player with excellent reviews from homecinemachoice.com

The BD35 is an excellent machine, and since I don't watch SD DVD anymore, and use a receiver for audio decoding, the only thing an Oppo has over the BD35 is faster loading times.

Well good luck with your BD35, it is a very good BD Player I still have mine. It plays most of the BD, it just doesn't play all of them. On the Oppo thread I don't see anyone complaining about not playing a BD. So enjoy, but just be ready to play around with your BD35 until it works right for you.

Which movies bd35 doesn't play? Is there a list somewhere?
