Default M$ to spend a billion for XBox glitch

I didn't see this on here yet (i did search) and I do not have a link as it was in my local paper.

the story I read says that 1/3 - 1/2 of the 11.6 million xboxes sold have had a problem reffered to as the ''red ring of death'', which m$ clarified was not a risk to public health but an online forum slang term.

but m$ is reported to spend $1.05 to $1.15 billion to repair the ''glitch''.

m$ refused to give the cause of the ''glitch'' but said that it was not caused by a single issue in the machine, which has 1,700 different components.

all customers who have had to pay for previous repairs to their machines related to this unspecified defect will be reimbursed according to the article.

the beast is bleeding money, and bleeding pretty badly.

can anyone help me with a link. pda's are bad at this whole internet thing. my source was the san diego union tribune business section.
