Top Gun is Coming to PSN exclusively - Blu-ray Forum

That’s right… Maverick, Goose, Iceman and Viper will take to the sky again in Top Gun, exclusively for PlayStation Network this summer. doublesix is the developer, and Paramount Digital Entertainment will publish the game.

There will be a single-player Horde Mode and five online multiplayer modes: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Top Gun (choose your wingman and compete against enemy pairs), Bombing Run (defend and attack mobile bases) and Capture the Flag.

Yes, you can request a flyby.

Yes, the day you can grow a moustache like Goose is the day you are officially a man.

Yes, the development team may have reenacted the volleyball scene many times for creative inspiration.

Hmmm...did someone seem to overlook the fact that this is also coming to PC and Mac as well?

Computers seem to never be treated as consoles so like if there is a game that's on PS3 and Mac or 360 and PC, the non computer version gets treated as an exclusive(well console exclusive just meaning it will not be available on 360, Wii, DS, PSP, or PS2 if it's a PS3 exclusive).

Anyways I remember the Top Gun game from NES(my 2nd game of existence besides the Super Mario/Duck Hunt combo pack since NES was my 1st console when I was very, very little).

Back in the day, aerial dogfights were nothing.

Landing the plane afterward, on the other hand...

oh god....landing the aircraft for nes was hard (i was also like 7-8 years old lol)

I remember Top Gun, and I still have it on the NES and there were a few times I landed perfectly, but there's always one mission where you just can't land it...like either you overshoot it or you don't make it back at all because you ended up landing in the water! LOL!! The levels on Top Gun were pretty awesome!!

Anyway, I'd like to see what this upgrade is all about

I hope it's not $15 like those map packs are LOL!!

Also trying to re fuel was hard as hell also.
