Rumor: Manhunt 3 Coming Exclusively To PS3 - Blu-ray Forum

There's word on the street that the controversial Manhunt series is headed exclusively to PlayStation 3. An anonymous source close to Take-Two has said the company plans to announce Manhunt 3 for PS3 this summer, along with support for PlayStation Move. Speculation has been rampant that Sony plans to reveal a 'major exclusive' at E3 this year, whether Manhunt 3 is the big reveal or not remains to be seen.

This rumor has some weight behind it considering the history of Manhunt. Manhunt 2 was released on PS2, PSP and Wii back in 2007, so there is a history with the PlayStation brand. The Move support also seems credible as Wii motion functionality was a feature of the last game.

We likely won't know if this pans out until E3, which starts on June 15th. Stay tuned.

Loved the first one, was pissed the second one didn't come out for the PS3, and just recently picked it up. Fingers crossed they make a third.

First one was alright. Second one sucked really bad. They better do some drastic improvements to a third if they do it instead of just graphics.

Agreed. I enjoyed Manhunt 2 very much. It was odd to have to go back to the PS2 game style but I really wanted to play it after LOVING the first one. Hope they make a Manhunt 3 and it comes to PS3
