Default Best video settings for panasonic dmp-bd605

hello, i have a panny bd605 player connected to my samsung pn58a650 plasma via hdmi cable. i was wondering what the best settings would be for me on the br player? btw i have the sound going to my older onkyo rec. via optical cable because there aren't hdmi connections. thanks in advance for any help.

For "Still Mode" in video settings, "Auto" is probably best. "Frame" gives the highest resolution, but there may be noticeable jitter, in which case you should choose "Field".

"Seamless Play" will prevent any noticeable frame pauses at beginning of chapters.

Panasonic advises "Black Level Control" should be set to "Lighter" unless you use component video out.

For "Display" "TV Aspect" settings, note that "16:9" will show 4:3 aspect video undistorted, while "16:9 Full" will stretch 4:3 video to fill the screen.

If your Samsung monitor supports 24 frame per second output (sounds like it probably does), make sure the "24p" option is "ON".
